They were high up on the mountain, almost too high. Thomas and Corey hadn’t had any contact with the outside world in days. They had fled up to their parent’s cabin when their secret files had been read. They had been found out. There was evidence of blood and gore, evidence of smashing a gate. The worst of their crimes was that they had beaten their neighbor’s English mastiff to death with the cue from their billiard set. They had to keep away from the police. Otherwise they would go to jail for a long time and they couldn’t bear to think of that.
